Apprenticeship Skill Development Training

Objectives

Skill development as source of income for their sustenance.

Activities

• To identify workshop and garages and businesses where women and youth in communities  could be trained and develop sustainable skills (Auto Repair, Tailoring, Construction, Pluming, Generator Repair, Catering, and Carpentry)
• Discuss service or training fees per trainee
• Develop a full concept or proposal for marketing to donor (UNDP, USAID, etc) for funding
• Submit concept to national office for onward presentation to the International office for approval and finance sourcing
• Market and secure funding by national program and international office
• Secure Funding, Implement, monitor, evaluate and report to National Program Office

Implementation Criteria

• Assessment Target community, recruitment beneficiary, classification by skills and training facility, training placement, monitor and evaluate the process, report on progress and achievement, certify and graduate (12 Months)
